2021 Toyota Fortuner was spied while testing of the vehicle on Indian roads. The facelifted model has been unveiled in Thailand.
The model spied is standard variant.
Upfront, it gets a new grille with a thick chrome strip on both sides, LEED headlights with DRLs, fog lights, LED blinkers in the lower half of the bumper and a big skid plate.
From the side, a chrome garnish on the window line and chrome door handles, with big wheel arches can be seen. it gets new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails and footboard. The rear of the car is also revised. The rear has been given a sharper look with a skid plate.
Pictures of the interior are not available but we expect it to have an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system(9-inch on the higher trim) with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto.
It is likely to get a 360-degree parking camera, wireless mobile phone charging, ambient lighting, auto climate control, 8-way power-adjustable front seats and lots of safety feature.
2021 Toyota Fortuner is expected with the 2.8-litre diesel engine with 204 PS and 500 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
There will be a petrol option also. A 2.7-litre 4-pot that develops 166 PS and 245 Nm with same transmission options.
To showrooms by September this year.
