BMW has just unveiled the X7 Dark Shadow Edition, a limited version of the flagship SUV offered by the manufacturer. It will hit the showrooms later this year.
Only 500 units of this Dark Shadow edition will be sold worldwide.
It is based on the top-end X7 M50i. It uses the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine producing 530 HP and 750 Nm of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW claims a 0-100kph in just 4.5 sec and a top speed of 250kph.
The xDrive system is rear-biased and can send 100% power to the rear wheels.
The car will be finished in Frozen Arctic Grey metallic – a new colour for the BMW SUV line-up, M Sport Bodyparts with gloss black tailpipes, kidney grille and roof rails. M Sport exhaust and 22-inch matt-black alloys are standard on the vehicle.
Interior includes contrasting blue and black Merino leather upholstery, Night Blue Alcantara headlining and a matching leather instrument cluster panel as standard.
In some markets, the dark shadow edition also offered with a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, panoramic glass roof, head-up-display, massaging front seats and a bunch of rear-seat entertainment options.
Deliveries of the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition are expected towards the end of the year.
There is no announcement about bringing the X7 Dark Shadow edition to our market(India) yet.
