The 2020 Hyundai Creta has been a major success for the carmaker. Till now Creta has recorded over 55,500 bookings since its launch in March this year. Diesel is more preferred by the buyer than petrol.
Nearly 60 per cent of the bookings are for the diesel motor. It is also the most searched vehicle on Hyundai ‘Click to Buy’ with almost 30 per cent enquiries and 76 per cent bookings.
Hyundai Creta is feature-loaded vehicle with an impressive range of engine and gearbox combinations. The Creta has been a very successful vehicle since it’s the first generation with over 4.85 lakh customers. Creta is also the best selling SUV for the month of May and June.
Hyundai Creta is offered 3 engine options.
A 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine producing 115 PS and 144 Nm mated to 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
A 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine producing 115 PS and 250 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed auto gearbox.
Last but not the least, there is the 1.4-litre kappa turbo petrol that puts out 140 PS and 250Nm of torque come mated to the state of the art 7-speed DCT transmission.
