BMW has relaunched the entry-level diesel variant of the 3 Series, priced at ₹ 42.10 Lakhs(ex-showroom). The 320d Sport was discontinued in March 2020.
Features list of the vehicle is very similar to the 330i Sport. Some of them are LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, 8.8-inch touchscreen, 3-zone climate control, powered front seats with memory function available only for the driver’s seat, rear-view camera, both from and rear parking sensors and many more.
The 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine produces 190 HP and 400 Nm sending all the power to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Claimed 0-100km/hr timing happens to be 6.8 Seconds.
From the safety front, it gets six airbags, traction control, ABS, ESC and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The 320d competes with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the Jaguar XE.
