Hello Everyone, here we are with another ownership review for you guys.
Today, we have the Hyundai i20 Asta Optional petrol variant. First, let’s have a look at the car.
Starting with the engine, this car is powered by 1.2-litre 4-cylinder kappa engine pumping out 83 PS and 115 Nm of torque. The engine provides adequate performance for city usage and drivability is also good. The motor is extremely refined, barely audible when idle. The gearbox is smooth shifting and the clutch is light. Also, steering is very light which makes this car a delight to drive in the city.
The car is quite feature-loaded and good aesthetically. Everything falls right in its place. Build-quality is also decent. Some of the features that the owner liked are wireless charging, Andriod Auto connectivity, rear AC vents, cooled glove box, automatic headlamps with cornering function and guide me home function.
Coming to the ride and handling department, it is very clearly evident that the car is softly-sprung in the interest of better ride at low speed and it does that pretty well. Low-speed ride is good and it takes most of the bumps and potholes in its stride with ease. Though, it thuds into the cabin when tackling with sharp bumps and potholes. However, on the other side, the high-speed stability isn’t good. It moves continuously thanks to the soft suspension setup and expansion joints can unsettle the car quite easily.
Moving on to the interior, it is quite simply laid out and has decent quality. There is a good amount of space for 4 adults and a child.
Maintenance cost is also low, and it is quite a reliable machine. After-sales service is also good.
The car is quite suitable for daily city use and occasional high trips. It is meant for the people who love comfort and tech in their car.
Also, the New Generation of the Elite-i20 will be launched later this year
We thank the owner for sharing their experience with us.
