BMW has launched the all-new 2021 X5 M Competition with a price tag of Rs. 1.94 crores (ex-showroom) in India.
BMW X5 promises to provide unrivalled performance and practicality of an SUV at the same time.
The X5 gets significant styling upgrades over the standard X5. It gets more aggressive bumpers, blacked out grille, massive alloys(21-inch at the front, 22-inch at the rear), classic M-style ORVM
While the exterior gives you a macho feel, the interior is still very luxurious.
It gets chunky classic BMW M steering wheel with customizable M1 & M2 buttons, a 12.3-inch touchscreen which is beautifully integrated with the Instrument cluster. The dash is slightly tilted toward the driver. It gets all the bells and whistles that you would ever need.
Powering the vehicle is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 625 HP and 750 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed torque converter gearbox channelling power to all-four-wheels.
0-100kph takes 3.8 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250kph, which is extremely quick for a car that weighs more than 2.3 tonnes.
