The Concept XM will be a hybrid with a twin-turbo V-8 mated to an electric motor for a combined output of 750 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. The electric only range should be somewhere near 80 km.
The front is dominated by massive kidney grilles and are outlined by LED lighting. The daytime running lights sit to the side of the grille and are separated from the headlights hidden in the lower bumper.
The rear of the vehicle features slim, L-shaped LED taillights, twin sets of vertically positioned, hexagonal-shaped exhausts, a massive diffuser. The car sits pm 23-inch alloy wheels.
BMW didn’t provide detailed specifications on the concept. The XM is likely to be sized between the X5 and the X7.
On the inside, a wall of screens sits atop the dashboard, like the electric iX. The XM’s cockpit features a seating for four. The front has sport seats covered in soft brown leather while the rear seat is covered in diamond-quilted velvet and deep carpeting for a lounge like experience. The roof-lining features a 3D prism-like design that is LED backlit for ambient lighting.
Set to serve as the flagship of BMW’s M division, the XM will target the Audi RS Q8, and Range Rover Sport SVR and Porsche Cayenne Coupé Turbo S E-Hybrid.
